La La La Ressonance (formerly known as The Astonishing Urbana Fall) have released their first album, Palisade. Though their music is essentially electronica and avant-garde (with a twist of Jazz), it's good to see they haven't fallen for the post-modernist trap many similar bands find themselves into. As experimental as they may be, they haven't forgotten melody, and most important — beauty.

Take a trip to their website and find out by yourself (requires Flash — no one's perfect). There's some sample tracks available for download, though a google search for their name will lead you to some funky pirate site (it's the first hit!) where the entire album can be heard online (it's better to use and abuse the later's bandwidth; if you really want to buy the album, you can do so legitimately at CDGO.com).
