Nleyten screenshot #1

Everybody loves screenshots, so here is Nleyten's first one. It shows the index page of the site, showing the latest stories to have made the front page. The screen real-estate is divided into five main areas: on top you find the header with the logo; on the bottom (not shown) you have a footer; on the centre is what I call the canvas, where the main content of the page is shown — in this case the list of stories; on the left side you have the main navigation area, where the menus common to all pages are shown; at last, on the right side you have the context-sensitive area, where menus related to the canvas are shown. In this case, the context-sensitive menus are the story filters: one for the sections, one for the time (which is "minimised"), and another for the topics.

This is obviously still pretty much work in progress. The logo, for one, must obviously be replaced, and the header will contain also a short intro to the site on the right hand side. Anyway, you can already get an idea of how Nleyten will look like. And expect further screenshots in the future...
