An article published today in the Financial Times is a good follow-up on my previous post. 'Learn from the fall of Rome, US warned', is the ominous title. Problem is, I doubt that little George knows much about the decline and fall of the Roman empire. Therefore, I reckon that history lesson will have to wait at least seventeen more months before someone takes heed.
